Quick update!

Family has been good. We enjoyed the holidays, and are ready to kick off 2010! Besides Christmas, Porter turned 4 and I turned....older:) Anyways, sorry for not blogging much latey, me and the misses have been too busy i guess. Between living life and Facebook'n, the time just seems to fade away:) Hope everyone is well.

HALLOWEEN FUN!!

We had such a fun Halloween week! We started off on the Sat. before Halloween at the Aquatic Center in Clearfield. They host a Halloween Boonaza. It it so much fun for the kids they have lots of booths that have prizes and alot of other fun things to do. The best part of all of it was getting to hang out with all the cousins on my side (well there are only 2 but still is the best!)
The boys loved dressing up except that Porter didn't like his "Hulk" mask so on Halloween we
decided to paint his face green and sprayed his hair black which he was exstatic about. On Friday at Porter's preschool Miss Mary had a Halloween Party. Porter has so much fun. they painted Pumpkins which we had all ready done twice at home, they also made cute bags to get there candy in. After school was over there was a Truck or Treat which the parents could participate in. It was so much fun seeing all the fun friends dressed up in there costumes! Then on Halloween day my lil sis Jamie decided to have everyone over for a Halloween dinner. It was fantastic, tons of food and GREAT company. Then we went Trick or Treating around my mom's neighborhood which is nice, it is a townhouse so there are alot of homes close together and when we finished that Porter said he was all done which was fine for us cuz really they don't need that much candy nor do I!!! We then headed over to the Featherstone's and visited for awhile and I think Porter loved giving out candy the most, some people came to the door and he answered it saying" Great Costume Happy Halloween" it was so cute to hear him, and he obvioulsy heard that a few times that night! All and all Oct. was a GREAT month and now were looking forward to the rest of the Holidays!

Labor Day Weekend Fun!!

Our weekend started Friday, when we headed out to S.L.C. for Jessica's birthday dinner at Chilies. Food was great and the company was even better... Chilies apparently has two wise guys that sing a rap version of Happy Birthday, so they sang it to Jessica and it was freakin hilarious.. Then we headed over to there house for some cake and ice cream and a little fire pit..Which the kids loved so much and all the adults were so scared they were gonna fall in. Rock and I weren't to worried since our kids have been around fire pits there whole life!! We toasted mellows and had smore's. I love me smore's.. All in all it was a great night. Happy Birthday Jessica!!!

Saturday... I worked and then came home and vegged.. WAY NICE!!

So on Sunday, my dear friends the Lopez's came up from Moab and were going to Lagoon so we decided to tag along.. It turned out to be a great day. Jennie's little niece Lexie and nephew Jaxson were here to and they immediately became best friends with Porter. They all had so much fun and it turns out there alot of rides that Porter could go on that I didn't even know..Loads of fun thanks for inviting us!!!

Then on Monday... We lounged some more and then went to the in laws for a BBQ.. Great food also and very fun company.. The boys played with there cousins and all the neighborhood kids. We had a great weekend with lots of family and friends!! Now back to real life....

So on Wednesday Porter started Pre-school... Very bittersweet for Rock and I. Its been so hard to accept that one of our babies is old enough to go. Porter sure loved going. He really loves his teacher Mrs. Mary, Mrs. Mary Jane as he likes to call her. He says it like that because on Spiderman (which he is obsessed with right now) she is Spidermans girlfriend... So cute! Mary Jane is very organized and seems to love what she is doing. We are very GREATFUL to have found her! On Wed. Rock, Braxton and I just sat on the couch waiting for it to be time to go and get Porter, we really missed him but are glad he liked it. When we picked him up we must have asked him a hundred times on the way home how it was and what his friends names are what kind of a snack they had and we couldn't get much out of him. So when we got home and I was cooking lunch, the boys came up to the kitchen and I asked again and Porter didn't say much again so Rock told me maybe we should stop asking for awhile cuz he said he asked Porter again downstairs and he said "Dad, I will have to tell you later". So I guess we must have asked him a few to many times!! We are glad he likes it and wants to keep going back..

I also gave Porter his Preschool Haircut... and Braxton's first haircut on Sunday. I just wanted to share how cute they look. Brax wouldn't hold still for an after picture so i'll have to post one later. Both of them held real still and are very good at getting it cut as well as styled everyday.. Hey I don't have any girls to do there little hair so I 'll just have style my boys!

First off I want to start off and introduce myself.. I am Lindsay the mom and I will be taking over the Blog updating due to the fact that Rock the dad is way to busy!! I hope my posts are as fun as his..♥

July 4, 2009
We started the festivities at the Kaysville Parade, which has become a tradition of ours. We especially love the water part after the regular parade. We then went home for a much needed nap, then headed over to my mom's for a BBQ loaded with lots of good food!! Rocks mom and brother were the only ones left at home so they joined us also. His dad so kindly took Angelle and her friend to see the Jonas brothers at the Stadium of Fire (which they were standing about 20 feet from them) LuCkY for them! We then headed over to Rock's sister Jackie's to see if we could see Layton's firework display and there was a giant tree so we headed over to Gordon Ave. and watched from the side of the road.. Which was nice for us afterwards no TrAfFiC...
Porter and I have passes to Lagoon and we have done alot of that. Braxton tags along and we all go to Lagoon A Beach. It is really so much fun..

Porter took swimming lessons at Surf n' Swim.. He took with 2 little buddies Trey and Ryker, they were sure fun to watch!!

Happy Father's Day......

Hey there everyone... Just wanted to tell everyone how lucky I am to have this guy!!! He is seriously the best DAD and HUSBAND in the world. I know everyone thinks that but really I got a keeper! He is so passionate about things he loves especially his family. The boys and I want him to know how much we LOVE him. Hope you had a great day today. LOVE YA

Well as a whole, the family has been enjoying the nicer weather...or at least Lindsay and the boys are. I swear, I'm always working!! Lets see... Porter has been going around with mom trying to find a preschool that isnt booked for the next 10 years....thats a toughy. I say screw it, but apparently I'm crazy for thinking that way. I'm sure it will all work out. Braxton is just running around and getting into all sorts of trouble. He loves the toilet!!! We have to keep the bathroom door shut or he's swimming...if you know what i mean. Lindsay is working hard and making the world a better place, one good hairstyle at a time. Her clientele is keeping her busy, which is just how she likes it. Me, I'm doing good. Ny business ventures are all doing "okay". My most recent works with RockMyFriday.com is doing good. Slowly getting to where I want it to be...about 10% of what I have in mind. Thats cool though. I've launched over 15 websites over the years and none of them were instant successes. Nothing great just happens over night....okay maybe they do, but this aint one of those things. I'm also happy to be working again with one of my favorite business partners in the world, Ashton Gifford. We mix well when it comes to business, and we're working hard at some really cool projects....hopefully we make billions of dollars and can stop working so hard for nickles and dimes. One step at a time:) Anywho, thats the nutshell cracked for ya...Hope yall are good too.

BRAX IS WALKING! He actually started about a week ago, taking more than 2-3 steps, but now he walks everywhere and all the time!

PORTER IS POTTY TRAINED! Besides needing a diaper at sleep time, he is going in the potty like a big boy! WOO HOO! The cool thing is - he'll wake himself up and go straight to the potty, with no reminder or help from the folks....okay, sometimes he likes help getting on the potty, but no biggie.

Lindsay is still working at the new salon, Wild Styles in Farmington, and she still really loves it. - always looking for more clients though - hint hint:)

And me, well my most recent project, RockMyFriday!com, is wrapping up its first week on the web. Its a lot of fun, and i hope you all win!! lol

Other than all that, the family is having fun, getting excited for the spring time weather to finally kick in. Hope yall are good:)

So today ended our weekend birthday celebration for Braxton's first bday. It was a lot of fun. He received lots of love and gifts, and shared the big day with all of his friends & family. Out of all the good times throughout this weekend, this moment had to be the highlight....

Its been such a great year, and Braxton has added so much joy and love to our family. Me and Porter love to play and tease him, and mom loves to rescue him from us. We are so grateful to our Father above for letting us be Braxtons family. He makes me a better father, Linds a better mother and Porter a better brother. With that said - we love you son. Happy Birthday B:)

Its been a minute on the ol blogger, but i guess ive been a little too busy. lets just start with braxton...

we are getting closer to his bday, april 3rd, and i think we are having his party at he park. easy clean up and kids can run around and get lost...i mean and have fun:) he's not walking yet, but i dont really care if he walks by his numero uno anymore. - he causes enough damage right now, and at least i can catch him still while he's crawling - barely

porter is doing really well with potty training. - a few accidents sure, but overall he's been doing really well. who knew running around naked would work so well. its actually when he isnt naked when the problens sometimes arise. wouldnt it be nice if all of our problems were solved by just getting naked?

Lindsay is still enjoying the salon, wild styles, and her clientelle for the most part has been following her there. i actually saw it in person for the first time, yesterday. it is a really nice salon. the girls there are all really nice and i can see why lindsay likes it so much.

as for me, scraping pennies:) but being able to be with the family more is the best. i just hope i can start making a little more sooner than later so linds can stop working as much. i think thats every guys dream, to make enough income that mommy can stay home..anyways - all in all doing good.

Oh and a quick recap on this weekend. we went and saw monsters vs. aliens with our homies Amber, Aden, Jackson and Amber's Pops at the megaplex in ogden, and it was really cool. the boys loved it - jackson however got a little scared at certain parts...but i mean it was a movie about monsters and aliens - i can see why the lil guy was a bit frightened. AND yesterday we took the boys to their buddy Sadie Baby's bday party at little gym @ the foothills. it was so much fun. they played and ran around the whole time. it was a lot of fun for sure. so one great weekend. Speaking of bdays - it was my brother nick, sister jackie, nephew lyric, good friend mary and sadie's bdays this month. March is a busy month yo. happy bday to all those with a bday this month.

We're getting really excited about Braxton's first bday. We dont have anything planned yet, but im sure we'll pull something out of our hats at the last second.

Porter is doing really good...today with potty-training. We're just letting him run around with no diaper or undies on at all. Its only been a few hours of trying it this way, and I admit, i'm scared as hell, but so far so good. The suggestion came from a friend who swears this is what her little boy did...keep your fingers crossed.

Lindsay is enjoying her new salon, and is happy her clientele has been following her...for the most part. Thanks to everyone for their support.

And me...still doin it. Juggling working from home and raising the boys is a lot of work...but a ton more fun. i hope i can keep it like this forever.

Great Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday we went to dinner at El Matador with none other than....Charlie, Mary and Sadie Baby. It was nice. We went bowling after dinner and it was not too cool. I sucked! Everyone was kind of off on their game. It was getting late so the kids were also losing interest quickly. But all in all, it's always nice to hang with cool peeps.

Saturday night we chilled at my folks for a little bit. My brotha Nick grilled some steak and we spent the rest of the night watching the little ones beat each other up while playing the wii at the same time. I guess that's what happens when 4 little rascals get together.

Today we had the honor of celebrating Lindsay's grandma's 96th birthday. I can't believe people can live that long! It was really nice and special.

And without me knowing it....I joined Facebook over the weekend. It's a lot of fun. Me and Linds chat with our friends way too much. I guess we're nerds like that:)

Anyways I hope you had a good weekend too.

Family Update - Rock & Po Vid - Lindsay & Face....

Yeah not a whole lot going on right now, besides being busy with work and trying to make a living from home..ha! Oh, we did get some new furniture within the last week or so. A couch, loveseat, tv stand, ottoman and area rug. Nothing fancy, but new furniture is always nice. I just hope the boys don't destroy it too quickly. Po loves to run and jump on the couch and ottoman...I can't blame him though, it does look like a lot of fun. Other than that, we're just living life:)

OH WAIT! One very important thing has happened to our family...Lindsay has discovered Facebook. She loves it! I catch her on it like 2-3 times a day. It's all good though, I am happy for her. She never really got into blogging and Myspace, so Facebook is something she has learned all by herself, and is having a lot of fun with.

I think she likes chatting with friends from high school. Her whole family, including her mom are on Facebook so Lindsay fits right in. If you have a Facebook account, you should hit her up and say hi:) Her screen name is "Lindsay Hover Featherstone".

The day has finally come. Me and Po and Lindsay, of course, have been waiting to see these big trucks smash stuff for a very long time. Well, no more waiting!

We really had a blast! It was well worth the headache (very loud trucks!), and I can't wait to go again. - Thanks to Matt, Jess and Payton for watching Baby B. He probably wouldn't have enjoyed the loud engines. Next stop - Freestyle Motorcross!

Yeah it got loud. Porter kept plugging his ears, even after getting earplugs.

Oh yeah - being the nerd I am, I found a way to fix my Flip Camera, Laptop problem. Now I can upload my vids to the web...woo hoo!

I SEA FUN TIMES

Last night the family took a little field trip with our friend's, Charlie, Mary and Sadie. Where'd we go? To The Living Planet Aquarium, in Sandy. It was a lot of fun. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the cool things there were to see and do. There were local fishes, from out of town fishes, exotic fishes, not so exotic fishes... fishes of every kind really. There were also sharks, eels, frogs and a ton of other scaly creatures, with names I can't possibly pronounce correctly. Porter's favorite part had to be wachting the sharks. They didn't swim around a lot, but seeing them up close was still scary. At least I was scared. Po also enjoyed hanging out by the stingrays in their petting pool. But don't be fooled. Just because we had the chance to pet them, doesn't mean we did. I know I didn't, and I'm pretty sure Porter didn't, but shockingly enough, Lindsay did! I know! She can be such a daredevil at times. Braxton really liked the striped fishes...the brighter their colors the better. He also liked sucking his fingers and cruising around in the stroller. Go figure. Sadie seemed to like it all, but I think she had the most fun taking pictures. She was using Mary's digital camera like it was no one's business. Snapping photos like a professional photographer. What a gal. Oh, and of course all the kids were excited to see the fish tank that held all of the Nemo characters. That was sweet. It was like watching Finding Nemo, without watching Finding Nemo. As for the old people, we just enjoyed watching our little guppies have fun.

If you haven't been, you should go. It was a little expensive for how short the experience lasted, but in the end it was well worth it. Here's a money saving tip for ya, but you didn't hear it from me. If your little ones "look" like they're 2yrs old, they get in free...(wink-wink). And I know the church is true:)

PUTTING THE "HELL" IN HEALTHY

Yesterday we took Porter & Braxton into the doctors for their routine check-up. It wasn't a whole lot of fun. For two hours, we were stuck in a shoe-box sized room, full of things kids are "not" supposed to play with. There was nothing we could do, but sit for two hours and listen to the wailing woes of the other children in the room next to ours. It was pretty bad. The screams coming through the paper-thin walls were so horrific at times, that it caused me to literally have flashbacks of being back in the concentration camps during World War II....which is strange because I'm pretty sure I wasn't even alive yet! Anyways, after two hours of "Daddy can we leave now?", it was finally our turn to see the doctor. What a relief. Everything went great, and our lengthy stay at Dr. Hell's Office ended shortly there after, with our boys being stabbed in the leg a few times and pumped full of high quality, FDA approved drugs. Drugs, vaccines...same thing. It took a lot of sugar-rich, vitamin-low suckers and hugs to ease the pain, but after a minute I was okay. I mean, they were okay. The boys were okay.

Porter weighed in at 29.5lbs, and stood at 39 inches. While Braxy boy weighed in at 16lbs, and laid at about 27 inches. Is this normal? I think my boys are growing way too fast. I figure, at their current growth rate, 1 inch per month, they should be about 7-8 feet tall by the time they're 8 years old.

GAME ON!

A while back, Lindsay's mom, knowing we must have been bored, was kind enough to give us her old, gently used Nintendo Entertainment System. Now I'm not talking about the Wii, the DS, the Nintendo 64 or even the Super Nintendo. No I'm talking about the original, 1985, ugly grey box of a console, Mario, Duck Hunt, calculator graphics, A-B button controler... Nintendo. Cool ah? We think so. Our favorite game has to be Dr. Mario, which is kind of like Tetris, but more fun. I'm not too bad at it, but Lindsay is definetely better. She kicks my butt! I'm ashamed to admit it, but there's even been a few nights when I've gone to bed mad at her, and Dr. Mario himself for kicking my butt so bad. When that happens, Linds swears she'll never play me again because I'm too much of a poor sport. Whatever... one day I will be champion! Anyways enough of that nonsense, the important thing is that the family has had a lot of fun playing this old school gem, and even though it's not the Wii, we still enjoy ourselves.

You'll have to excuse the messy boy's bedroom...and the messy boys. Porter has a perma-fruit punch mustache, and Brax has a perma-baby food chin. What can I say? Playing Nintendo with the homies is at the top of our/my priority list. That is, until mom gets home.

ALABAMA WHO?

I can't think of a better way to start the new year, than with a win against Alabama. All the hype in favor of Alabama, with the so-called "experts" picking them to beat Utah by at least 10 points, was crushed within the first 5 minutes of the game. Take that! We watched the first half of the game at Iggy's in Centerville, which was really cool. It was packed with Utah fans! And every tv screen had the game on. It was almost like being at the game...okay, maybe not. But it was cool. Everytime Utah did something great, the fans would just go crazy. The only time all of us fans boo-d was when the cable or dish went out. But no worries, Iggy's fixed that in a hurry. It was cute to watch Porter yell "Go Utes!" and scream a long with all the fellow fans. Braxton on the other hand, didn't like all the loud screams and whisltes. He would actually cry whenever it got too loud. But in his defense, it did get pretty loud. Oh well, I'm sure he'll learn to love it soon enough. We finished watching the game at our friends, Charlie & Mary. They made a lot of great food, and Porter played the rest of the night with Sadie Baby. All and all, one great night. GO UTES!! 31-17 BABY!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Our family sure had a blast in 2008. Among all the blessings we recieved, the best thing to happen to us this year had to be having Braxton. 2008 will always be special to us, because of that. And with Brax and Po, healthy and full of life, running, crawling, playing and laughing, how could our family not have a good year?

Now, to celebrate the new year coming and the old year passing, the family decided to hang out with my sister and her husband, Jackie & Jason at their house. It was very chill, but still a lot of fun. The dress-code for the night was, actually I don't think we had one. Sweats or PJ's were pretty much the standard. The dinner menu was as diverse as it gets. There was Lindsay's favorite, sushi, seven layer bean dip, artichoke dip, fondue and lots of chocolate. Wierd mix, but very tasty. And as always, we all ate way too much. As for the entertainment, the old folks watched the countdown to midnight on every channel possible. My personal favorite, was the countdown on CNN with Kathy Griffin & Anderson Cooper. Those two together, crack me up. Now for the boyz, Porter & Braxton played around with Aunt Jackie & Mom, and surprisingly enough, didn't break or stain anything. Miracles do happen. The only complaint I had about the whole night, was having to sit there and listen to Taylor Swift-kick-in-the-face perform. Enough of Taylor already!! Anyways, we got home around 1am, and crashed shortly there after. I guess me and Linds aren't the party animals we use to be...You know what, I take that back. Being around Po & Brax everyday, and having fun as a family.... that's the real party, and you have to be a party animal to keep up with those two. Woo-Hoo!!

PORTER'S NEW HAIRCUT

Lately Porter has been asking about getting a haircut. We would talk about it with him, to make sure it was something he really wanted to do. Usually Porter would say "yes" he wanted it cut, but five minutes later he would change his mind. Today though, he said he was ready, and he meant it! I think he just got too fed up with having to constantly brush the hair out of his eyes to see, and having mom and dad chasing him around the house with a brush. Oddly enough, now that his hair is short, I kind of miss it being long. Oh well. Either way, short or long, Po looks really handsome. Props to mom for being a superstar with scissors.

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS

One of the many perks of being with Lindsay, is I now get to share in some of her family's fun Christmas traditions. Traditions we plan to continue together, even when Porter and Braxton have their own little families.

Now you can't celebrate Christmas, without celebrating Christmas Eve, first. So we started Christmas Eve out with a little game of bowling. Did I say "bowling"? I sure did, and I don't mean on the Wii. Okay I know, the idea of going bowling on Christmas Eve sounds kind of odd, but seriously you would be surprised. There are lots of families that go bowling on Christmas Eve. I mean the bowling alley was so packed with people, I was afraid they might run out of bowling balls... could happen. The kids loved it for about 3 frames, and then they just wanted to run around and goof off. No big deal. The adults all did really well, well that is besides me. I SUCK! I guess it's true what they say, some people are just better with balls than others...

Did that sound right?

After getting my butt kicked, with a humbling score of about 60, we all went to Ligori's Pizza for some dinner. Getting pizza on Christmas Eve is also part of Lindsay's family tradition, and that's just fine with me. Now that I think about it, every family needs more traditions that revolve around pizza. If you don't already, learn to love the pizza. Anyways, we had a really good time and I even managed to finish my leftovers later on that night.

Speaking of Holiday food...

Now after everyone had their fill of Italy's finest, or at least East Layton's, we headed to Kay's house, Lindsay's mom, for the traditional, or as some like to call it, Offical Pajama Exchange. It's kind of a big deal. And again, this is another fun family tradition of Lindsay's. Now with that said, I must tell you something about the whole Offical Pajama Exchange. Every year I've attended the Offical Pajama Exchange, an exchange which I believe has been going on since the discovery of flannel, I have never once seen or heard any exchanging going on! Nothing! What's up with that? I mean Kay just buys us all a pair of pajamas, gives them to us, and that's pretty much it. I mean, where's the exchange?! What's the exchange?! Was I supposed to bring something prior to the exchange? I guess maybe in some sick, cheap and twisted way, in exchange for the Pajamas, we all give Kay a little love & gradituted. But really, does a little love & gradituted count as a propper gift or exchange, in an exchange of this magnitude, which I believe has been going on since the discovery of flannel? Wait I said that part already... I mean we're talking about really nice pajamas here. Often with plaid patterns, and durable inner-lining of some sort. Well, regardless of how unfair or one-sided the Offical Pajama exchange is for Kay, it is a lot of fun each year for all of us, and we always look forward to wearing our comfy new PJ's, Christmas morning.

For the sake of not posting anymore ridiculously long paragraphs and blogs, which are filled with little substance, and a whole bunch of commas, next year we'll just call this tradition "The Offical Kay's Pajama Giveaway".

Oh man! The baby is crying! And because I spent so much time rambling on about sleepwear, I can't go into detail about Christmas Day. I'll just say it was really nice, we were all spoiled rotten and I can't wait till it rolls around again. If you're reading this, I hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas too. Brax I'm coming!

And you thought I was done writing. Ha! No really I just wanted to share something with you, that Brax shared with us for the first time on Christmas Eve. It nearly gave us all a heart attack. We don't know if we should be proud of him, or just really scared. What do you think?

OUR SNOWMAN STORY

Last weekend, me and Porter decided to make our first snowman, together. Nothing crazy, just a good old fashion Frosty The Snowman. It was a lot of fun. It took about an hour because my help, Porter, kept running off and playing in the snow. Kids... But when it was all said and done, it looked really cool. We used Oreo's for his eyes, a carrot for his nose and red hot tamale candies for his mouth. However, much to me and Porter's dismay, no matter how hard we tried, we could not fit our Utah Utes hat on Frosty's head. I guess we made his head too much like my own, big and fat! And if a snowman missing a hat isn't bad enough, our snowman is also missing a scarf. Why you ask? Because Lindsay wouldn't let him borrow one of hers! Funny thing is, the red hot tamale candies that we used for his mouth, actually melted the snow, which in turn caused the red dye to start dripping down his face. By the time we were done, it looked more like a bloody Halloween decoration than a symbol of Holiday cheer.

Now you can blame it on my poor engineering, bad luck, or even global warming, but whatever it was, within a few days of Frosty being completed, he started falling over. Not actually falling, but rather leaning. He's kind of funny looking now. He looks like he's either hunched over, due to chronic back pain or bending down in a last second effort to avoid being hit by an incoming snowball. Your guess is as good as mine.

In the end, regardless of how odd our snowman may have turned out looking, at least me and Porter can say we had a good time. Will we build another one anytime soon? Well like the wise and articulated, Sarah Palin once said, "You Betcha!" Only next time, our snowman will have a propper hat and scarf.

MY QUARREL WITH TIME

With Porter turning 3 this past week, I can't help but feel a little sad thinking of the limited time I still have left with Braxton. That is while he's still a baby. Sadly for me, sooner than later, like Porter, Brax will grow up and no longer be an infant, hanging on my every word, and laughing at all my stupid jokes. Heck, he's already growing up too fast in my opinion. He's already crawling, sitting up, eating from a spoon, not laughing at all my stupid jokes, driving, dating, going to college....okay maybe he's not growing up that fast, but you know what I'm getting at. It's all happening too quickly, and I blame Time for that. Yes I said it, I think Time is being unreasonable right now. I mean doesn't Time, like everyone else, need to slow down on occasion and take a breather? F.Y.I., nobody likes a workaholic. Honestly I know I wouldn't be upset if Time decided to take a second to stop and smell the roses. Personally, I love the smell of roses, maybe not so much in the winter. But look enough about the dang roses, all I'm saying is this. Wouldn't it be in Time's best interest to relax for a little bit, and maybe pick up a hobby or two that doesn't involve flying so fast by the fun times? No. FINE! Whatever, I guess that's life, and I just need to grow a pair and deal with it. Did I just say grow a pair? I'm sorry. You know at least Time can't completely screw me over. Afterall, I do have lots of really great memories with Brax. Memories like this one that will surely pass the test of Time, regardless of all of it's misleading multiple choice questions. Memories like this one that will always put a smile on my face...no matter how cruel & unsual, selfish & unfair Time decides to be..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PORTER BOY!

It's offical! Porter is now a 3yr old. The time has gone by way too fast in the last 3 years, but whatcha gonna do? Me and Linds remember hopping in our car in the middle of a cold December night, with an empty car seat, knowing in a few days it would be carrying our most precious cargo, home. One thing we didn't know, was just how much we would love our baby boy. He was a gift from heaven, straight from our Heavenly Father, and protected by his Papa Hover, who passed away only 2 months prior to his arrival. He's a great son, and a wonderful brother, and our love for him grows stronger and stronger each day. Happy Birthday Po! We love ya son.

CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY

As if Lindsay's week wasn't hectic enough, with the planning and hosting of a 3yr old's birthday party, she also managed to surprise me with an early birthday present, which included dinner at The Garden, my favorite, and a night stay at the wonderful Marriot, downtown. It was super nice. Linds did so much to make it a romantic, relaxing and very special night. She secretly arranged everything weeks in advance, and I tell you, I was so surprised! I mean my birthday isn't until the 25th, at least another 10 days a way....and yes I am cursed with a Christmas birthday:( Anyways, Linds had her awesome blossom mother, Kay, watch the boys all night. And before we had time to miss them too much, we were off to Salt Lake to enjoy ourselves without a care in the world. I loved it! Dinner was so good! Our waitress was a little odd, but entertaining. Oh, and our room...SO NICE! Eleven floors up with a beautiful view of Salt Lake City. We had a huge king size bed with lots of soft over stuffed pillows. HEAVEN ON EARTH! Seriously though, Linds spoils me so much on a daily basis, and she always goes above and beyond to make me happy. And being with her, just us two for one whole night, really meant the world to me. I felt like a king...she always makes me feel that way. I love her tons and I had such a great time. I couldn't imagine it being any better. It was the best birthday present ever! Thanks babe, Love ya:)

PORTER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Porter had a great time last night. He celebrated his 3yr Birthday with a little par-tay, put together by his one and only mother. It was great! Linds really did a fantastic job. Nothing over the top, just some good old fashion fun, which is just the way we like it. With family, friends, gifts, pizza, a pinata, candy, cake, ice cream and a whole lot of laughs.... it was really a memorable time. I only have one concern. Porter got so many cool gifts from everyone, that Christmas may seem like a drag when it finally comes around. Sorry Santa, you may have been out done. Oh well.

You know as I write this, it's crazy for me to think how fast Porter is growing up. I mean it feels like one minute he was small enough to fit peacefully inside a Christmas stocking....

and now he's big enough to bath himself in half a bottle of lotion, only one hour prior to his birthday party! True story.

Well anyways, the party was a lot of fun, and Porter's hair was silky smooth. I think the best gift Porter got this year, among them all, was being surrounded by all of his family and friends. Loved ones who traveled from near and far, just to hang out and play with him for a little while. It made him so happy. Thanks guys:) And a special thanks to - Payton, Kennadee, Dom, Lyric, Aiden and Sadie-Baby. You guys ROCK! Oh! And his Nanna Kay...she let us trash, I mean use her condo's clubhouse for the party. Thanks Kay:) Love ya.

And just for the record, Po's Birthday isn't untill December 16th. And cash is always a good gift. j/k

The boyz must have been bored today. They saw mom had left the laundry baskets out, and they ceased the moment for themselves, and had a lot of fun. Brax was a good sport, not crying while Po may have been a little rough on him. I guess that's what big brothers do to little brothers. As long as no one gets hurt. Me and Linds sure had a good time watching them play together......even when it got a little messy, and the clothes didn't get folded right away:) No biggie. That's just how it goes.

Now I know these were taken a month or so ago, and I had promised to post them shortly there after.... so, well this is my, "shortly there after" . Better late than never, right? Keep in mind that my scanner isn't working so good, so I just took still shots with my little FLIP camera. Ghetto? Yes. Cute looking boys? Yes. SEEING THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AT TEMPLE SQUARE

Last night the Fam had a great time at Temple Square. The Christmas lights were so beautiful! Of course. Every year they look amazing! Brax stayed nice and warm, bundled up snug as a bug in a rug, comfortable in his stroller. While Porter ran around trying to take it all in. Lindsay and I went on one of our first dates to the lights, 6 years ago! I don't think then we ever could have imagined that we would be back 6 years later with two little boys of our own. We love it! After the cold set in, we hopped inside the Navoo Room at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a bite to eat, and a little hot chocolate. Just what we needed to warm up. I can't wait to do it again soon.

One cool thing this year was the Nativity scene, that was displayed in such a way, that it appeared to be floating in the middle of the Reflection Pool. There were a variety of different Nativity scenes all around Temple Square, but that one really caught our attention. With the dark water and dark night sky as a backdrop, the Nativity scene and the Christmas lights just seemed to glow even brighter. And seeing the Temple's reflection in the water, was really beautiful on so many levels.

The fam had a lot of fun tonight. Lindsay, Porter and myself made a big mess and ate about a pound of frosting, M&M's, gum drops and candy canes. It's seriously been ages since I last made one of these. The way Lindsay's turned out, you would think she makes one every Holiday! Good job babe. Porter really didn't get into the whole "help" daddy out mode, but that's alright. Maybe we'll make some more when I get another sweet-tooth. Oh and Brax, well he was getting fussy before we even started so he sat this one out. Sorry bud. Anyways, it was a lot of fun, and it really got us excited for the Christmas Season.

So Lindsay's mom, Kay, really got a kick out of playing Mario-Cart on the Wii, Friday night. No one is quite sure what it was exactly about the game that got her laughing so much, but who cares. It was hillarious to watch, or rather listen to as she hackled her freakn' lungs out. I wish I would've turned the camera on sooner, because it went on for a few minutes before I thought to record it. Kay was laughing so hard at times , that she would start coughing! And it's not just the fact that she was laughing out of control, it's how she laughs. It almost scares you when you're not expecting it. Not like anyone can help the way they laugh, but still, it is too funny! All I gotta say is, she made our night a whole lot more fun.

The fam has been waiting for this game, all season long. Actually, for the last two years! Ever since BYU ended our winning streak against them, which was totally NOT COOL! Whatever though, BYU is going down this time. My prediction for the game is, close till the fourth quarter, and then Utes will take it home with a ten point victory over BYU. If I'm wrong though....no I won't be wrong. GO UTES!!!!

For the last week or two, everytime we went in to get Brax out of his crib, he would be standing up. Until today, we hadn't seen 'how' he did it. - Pretty cool.

Lately we've been bathing both the boys together in a normal tub, but today Linds decided to bath Brax in his smaller, more personal tub.

Oh, I am happy about the outcome of the election. I'm actually more happy that it's finally over with! Besides the SNL skits, and the occational Palin goof ups, I won't miss a thing. Obama wasn't my first choice, GO RON PAUL!, but in my opinion he is the best person for the job, right now. On an emotional note, I am extremely happy to see an African-American as President. Regardless of who you voted for, that's something we can all be proud of.

Linds is very camera shy, so of course I thought it would be fun to catch her with wet hair, no makeup and demand an interview.

Not much of an interview, but Brax was sure acting like a goof ball. Oh, and just so you know. Lindsay's hair was wet because she had put some red color in it, and just washed it out. She loves her red. And I must admit, it looks smokin hot!

It's already winter? What happened to fall? Well Porter is sure excited about the snow falling. He sure looks like a big boy now, huh?

KIDDIES GONE WILD!!

Last night the fam went and hung out with our lil baby girl Sadie, so her folks could sneak off for a little alone time. It was a ton of fun!

Lindsay tended to Brax as he tried sleeping, and me and the kiddies had a freakn blast. We were running around the whole house playing hide and seek, and of course, I was the tickle monster most of the night. And as you can see from the video clips, I was also the human punching bag and trampoline. Seriously, I felt like a little kid again... it was awesome. I hope we can do it again soon.

FAMILY UPDATE WITH THE BOYZ!

Yeah it's pretty obvious from this video, that Po and Brax are getting along just fine. Porter loves hanging out with his lil bro, and Brax just smiles from ear to ear whenever Porter is around.

Porter, being the tender guy he is, gets visably upset when we have to put Braxton down for a nap. He'll hang his head low and start frowning. And with his sweet little voice and a tear or two, he'll softly say "I miss my bruder." It really tugs at my heart strings.

Something tells me these two will be best of pals forever.

Now, about what I had mentioned about Braxton being picky about crawling, it's true! You think since he learned how he would be motoring around all the time, but he isn't. And the sooner he walks, the sooner he won't be carried around like a king everywhere. - Milk it while you can buddy boy:) Regardless, we still love the heck out of him.

I know, I know. I can't believe it either. Lindsay called me up today and told me the great news. I was like "what?" but then she sent me the video she had taken with her cell phone, and I had to believe her.

All I can say is, What a freaking stud! I know most babies are probably crawling before their 6 month mark on the world, but it seems pretty early to me.

I remember going to every game at Northridge chearing on friends and hanging with friends, and it was such a fun time. What a way to start the new month. Porter has been sick for the last few days, throwing-up with a high fever. Being the tough kid he is, he tries smiling through it all. He is just barely starting to cool down, and wanting to eat. NO FUN!

Lindsay has been feeling rotten the last few days too. She's been achey and getting cold sweats. She also has been sick to her stomach a lot and really worn out. Maybe she's preggers??? Just kidding. IDK

Me and Brax have been feeling okay, but I've been trying to keep Brax away from everyone so he doesn't get sick too. That means he hasn't had a whole lot of play time outside of his crib:(

I really don't know if it was something Po and Mom ate or if they just caught a nasty flu bug or something. Whatever it is, it can leave now, thanks.

THE STORY OF A SAMOAN GIRL!

After my parents had adopted me and my brother Nick, they were sad to learn that they needed to leave Samoa, and return back to the States. Samoa had been their home for a few years, working with the Chruch, and the people of Samoa loved these two, as if they had been on the island with them all a long. My parents had fallen in love with these beautiful people, and their culture, and saying goodbye was truly heartbreaking.

The sorrows of their farewell however, were met quickly with strong feelings of joy. Not only did they have two baby boys to return to the States with, but they also would be taking a sweet foster child/house-girl with them as well, by the name of Affi. Affi was a big part of our family and helped my parents with raising me and my three other brothers and sisters, all of whom were under the age of three at the time. Diapers anyone? Needless to say, I know my parents were grateful for Affi's help, and loved her as one of their own.

Well as time went by, Affi's life journey took her other places to live her own life and to eventaully have and raise her own family. Affi now lives with her wonderful family in New Zealand, and has just become a Grandmother. I'm sure that makes my parents feel old.

My folks have kept in contact with Affi, via emails for the last few years, but they have not heard each others voices, in over two and a half decades! I thought I could help out with that.

Affi if you're reading this..... Talofa! and this one's for you girl, Love ya!

THE FAM HITS UP THE FAIR!

Last weekend we tripped out to the Davis County Fair, for some summer night fun! We went with our great pals, Charlie, Mary and Sadie Johnson. It was too fun!

Porter and Sadie loved the animals and rides, and probably could've stayed there all night. Of course us big kids (the parents) had a blast watching these two, just being kids. Braxton also enjoyed it all from the comfort of his stroller.

We ended the night by grubn' at IHOP in Centerville. I honestly can't think of a better way to spend a summer night, than with good people, family, food and fun. Loved it!

It really has been a fun week. Porter and Mom had their last swimming lesson at Clearfield Aquatic Center. From the looks of it, Porter picked up some great pointers. Linds said it took a little time for him to feel comfortable about going under the water completely. But once he was cool with it, he was bobbing his head under water like a little duck. Kudos to Linds too, because she was right there in the water with Po, each day for the last 2wks! What a great Mom.

Yeah as the video shows, Brax loves eating more solid food than that nasty formula milk. YUCK! But I must say, his diaper was very funky this morning. DOUBLE YUCK! It's gonna be crazy when Porter and Braxton are eating as much as their dad. We might need to get a bigger fridge if you know what I'm sayn.

CRAZY UTAH DRIVERS!

Yeah it was funny to watch these people get so mad from waiting in traffic. Peopl were getting out of their cars and walking around the freeway talking to other drivers. I understand though, we did wait over an hour in THE SAME SPOT! I still can't believe that Lindsay was considering doing the same thing and driving against the flow of traffic and up the wrong way of the Parrish Lane on ramp. I think she must have been super tired. It was 1:17am in the morning when cars started moving again.

This morning the fam decided to hit up Layton City Park. So we stocked up on some expired bread from The WonderBread store, and off we went.

It was really fun, HOT, but fun, and Porter really loved the ducks!

Lindsay went on a walk to get some training in for her 5k, but some creepy dude kind of made her feel uncomfortable on the trail, so she came back in a hurry. NOT COOL!

Anywho, we finished the morning off playing on the slides and such, and by then, we were spent! HOT DAYS!!!! Brax stayed nice and cool though, under his carseat visor thingy-ma-bob.

It's times like these, I feel truly blessed to be part of such an awesome lil family.

JULY 4TH FUN!

So the Fourth was a lot of fun. The Kaysville parade was a lot of fun till people started getting hurt, and life flight had to drop in. The notorious water fight ended about as quick as it started. I was also told not to throw water ballons... that didn't stop me! The kids hit up the pool after the parade and then we BBQ and watched the fireworks at Clearfield park. The fireworks are about the only cool thing about Clearfield. But yeah it was a really fun time.

Yeah it was another movie Porter had been waiting to see for along time. It was good, but I think it may have been to mature for little kids under 3 years. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed like a lot of the kids in the theater had lost interest in a few parts. Also, I thought it started off kind of slow... Of course I still think it was a good flick, but not quite as funny and silly as I thought it would be. Personally, I liked Kung Fu Panda more. Just my opinion of course:)

For the last week or two, whenever we go in to get Brax out of his crib, we're shocked to see that he has completely rolled over! It doesn't matter if we lay him on his back or his belly. We thought the day would never come! Porter has been waiting to see Kung Fu Panda since Shrek 3 came out, last summer. Almost a year later, we finally got to take Po to see a big fat panda, kick some butt!

What a great show! I thought it was really cool, and Porter loved it! Jack Black is hillarious and the message was a good one for all kids, and parents to hear/see.

You know it's funny how one day you're flirting with the front counter girl at Gold's Gym, only to find yourself, years later, asking her to marry you. Not knowing that a few more years down the road, you'ld be holding her sweaty, tight clinched hand, telling her everything is gonna be great, and how much you love her.... all while she gives birth to your guys's second baby boy.

Back then I couldn't predict the way things would go for us, but I always knew, without a shadow of doubt, I was the luckiest guy around, because she loves me!

Quick note: Lindsay had some Wisdom Teethe pulled out this week, and as painfull as it was, she has recovered almost 100%. For a day or so, we went on a strict ice cream and smoothie diet... I wasn't complaining:)

Also, Lindsay went into the salon today, first time in about a month, and took care of some clients. Porter really had a hard time with her being away, even though it was only for about 4hrs. As Linds was heading out the door, Po kept pulling on her leg, saying "Momma, no work! Momma stay home, now!" It was heartbreaking, and also very hard on Lindsay. It was the first time in awhile, that she's been away from the boys..We've all loved having mom home. She'll be working fulltime starting in May:(

Porter & Sadie: Carnival!

So Saturday night was another great night spent with the Johnsons. We started the night off at Chilli's, hit up a carnival and ended up at their place, where the kids just wore themselves out playing. Always fun.

So my good friend since we were kids, Billy, tells me the other day some really great news. For those who don't know Billy, he has always been a great photographer. He's been passionate about this love for a very long time. Anyways, one of his biggest dreams was to possibly one day have one of his photos on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. For any photographer, a spot on Rolling Stones is a very big deal. It's like the superbowl win for a photographer. Well, with his dedication, talent and years of hard work, this month his dream became reality. This month Billy got that superbowl victory. Coughing and runny noses... NO FUN! Yes it's true, the Featherstone boys, including dad, are not feeling well:( Porter started coughing and getting a runny nose after playing at the park the other day, then Brax started coughing shortly after. And wouldn't you know it, I caught the bug too.

I feel the worst for Braxton... He's so little that when he coughs, his whole body shakes. Porter still plays like he's not sick. Just runs around coughing, with snot dripping everywhere - YUCK!

One good thing is that Linds isn't sick (knock on wood).

Last night was a blast! After being cooped up in the house for a few days, we thought we would take the lil ones over to Charlie & Mary's pad. Po played with Sadie, as you can tell from the video. Linds and Mary held Braxton, and me and Charlie..... well, we're two big polys, you figure it out. I'll give you a hint... WE ATE LOTS OF FOOD! Mary was so sweet and made us dinner, dessert and even breakfast! It was so nice, and tasted so flipn' good! I tell ya what, it sure is nice to have people like this in our lives.

As a family, we feel so blessed and fortunate to have baby and mom home and doing well. Lindsay was in a whole lot of pain, but now she's doing great! Braxton Richard Featherstone was born on April 3rd, 2008 @ 6:29pm. He weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces.. He is such a lil stud, and we love him tons!! We stayed at the hospital, Ogden Regional, till Saturday morning. Now we're at home, just catching up on some much needed rest.

Oh yeah! Just so you know, B raxton and his big bro, Porter, are doing good together. I can already tell that they'll be goofn' off together in no time.

Thanks to all of our family and friends for your constant love and support. Braxton, Mom, Porter and me, Rock.... are forever grateful to you all.

My big sister turned a whopping 29yrs old this week! Man that's old! j/k. You wouldn't be able to tell her age just by looking at her.... she probably hasn't gained a single pound since high school.

Before I go into why Porter isn't in his own bed, here is a short video on some fun Porter had tonight with some cousins...

So Porter is having his first ever, overnight stay, with his loving gma Kay, and aunt Jamie. That's right! After 28 months of sleeping no further than 20 feet a way from me and Linds, Porter is now staying the night somewhere else. That's why I'm still up and not in bed.... I miss the lil guy! Lindsay and I thought it would be a good idea to prep Porter a little, for when the baby brother is born, and mommy and daddy have to stay at the hospital for a few nights. Kudos to us for thinking ahead!

So after having dinner, with Lindsay's side of the family, we took him over to Nana Kay's place and said our goodbye's. Porter was fine with it, go figure... he loves it over at gmas house. When me and Linds told him we were leaving, he gave us both a big hug and simply said "Yeah okay!"

Here's the kicker!

Me and Lindsay thought we would take advantage of our alone time and head to a movie. Kind of like when we were children-free and full of energy. Shoot, I remember back in the day, we could catch a late night movie, and still have enough energy to stop for a midnight treat at Denny's or IHOP... So how did things go tonight? We ended up grabbing a Slurpee, and staying home to watch a movie. We're so wild, Lindsay lasted all of about 30 minutes into the show, before snoozing away on the couch, 10:30pm tops. Man how times have changed:)

Seriously though, I hope Linds sleeps peacefully all throughout the night. Lord knows she deserves it!! As for me.....we'll see. It's already 2:15am. I'm kind of hoping Kay calls soon, and asks me to pick PoPo up. I miss him bad!... Now that I think about it, I better make sure my cell phone is on, just in case she does call. Porter if you can hear me....Love ya tons son, and I'll see ya soon.

BALANCING THE ATTENTION!

I gotta say, while waiting around for baby number two to get here, there have been a few things on my mind. First is Porter. Lately he seems to be acting up a little bit more, and not minding as well as he use too. Nothing serious, but I can tell something is bugging him. I don't know if it's his age, "terrible two stage" or if he sort of senses someone else coming into the picture, and thus feels threatened in a way. You know someone else who will require some attention from mom and dad, attention that use to be all his. Honestly, I'm kind of worried about it too. I just don't want Po to think he's getting replaced in any way, or that he needs to lash out to get my attention. I certainly don't want him to think dad or mom loves him any less, because there's another baby in the fam.

Growing up in a big family (average Mormon family size 8-10 members), I know that getting one on one attention with my parents was slim to none at times. Thinking back, I probably got the most attention from them when I was breaking the rules, not following them. And trust me, that kind of attention wasn't any fun. OUCH!! Now please don't get me wrong, my folks did tons for us kids, and I love them dearly for all the sacrifices they made on my account. I'm simply saying that I know how important it is for kids to get quality attention from mom and dad. In comparison, I shouldn't have as hard a time as my parents did at this, because I don't "plan" on having as many kids as they did (knock on wood), but still, big or small I want to make sure everyone in my family feels loved.

Now that also goes for Lindsay too! All this jive about attention, I better not forget about Linds. It's important to me that Lindsay knows how much I love her, and that I want us to have a loving relationship with each other, not just as the other person who watches the kids, but as a Husband & Wife. I've heard about couples who feel like they lost each other to their kids. You know, couples who got so caught up in giving their kids all the attention, that they didn't give each other the attention they both deserved. Often these couples refer to each other as "business partners" rather than lovers. I sure as hell don't want that to happen either. It's actually really hard for me to think this would ever happen to me and Linds, simply because we goof off so much together. We have a lot of fun together, But I'm sure none of these couples thought they would end up in their current state. I guess I'll just have to work hard to make sure that never happens..

In closing I know Heavenly Father has shown us the way to be a happy family. We'll just have to make time for each other, no matter what! From Friday night dates with my hottie, Linds, to Saturday morning trips to the park with the boys, I'm sure it will all balance out.

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY!

The fam had a ton of fun today. We started the day off with a little toy shopping at Target, for our buddies birthday. It's always fun getting gifts for lil ones. We then grabbed a Slurpee and headed out to our favorite bowling alley. If you haven't gone bowling early in the day, you should try it. It's actually pretty cool. Porter loved it! Po and mom did awesome, getting strikes and spares all over the place....Me, well not so good. It could've been worse. At least the bumpers worked in my favor....still had fun though. After a quick nap we cruised over to the park and played till Porter's nose started running too bad. It was warm, but could've been warmer. No complaints here though, the sun is out, and the Featherstone's are loving it!

Anyways like I said, Today was a good day. Spending the entire day with Lindsay and Porter is my slice of heaven on earth. I hope the lil one on the way knows he's in for a freakn' good time!!!

Quick note, we took Porter to the same park, about a year ago, and he was too scared to go down the big slide without mom or dad holding his hand...I think it's safe to say, he's over that fear:) Good job buddy.

PS: get yourself a Slurpee...it can only make your day better!

I'm just very grateful that Lindsay and the babe are healthy. It's kind of scary when you're this close to the due date, just because so much is going on with both mom's body and the baby's. So the fam tripped it out to the Megaplex 13 at The Junction, in Ogden, to watch... Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! Here's our take on it...

So there you have it. A pretty cool movie. No Shrek, or Nemo, but still a cool movie. Worth seeing. Really though, Me & Linds get the biggest kick out of going to any kid flick, and just listening to the audience. It's a blast!Because during the entire movie all you hear in the crowd are a bunch of kids laughing and screaming.....not worrying about anything, just happy to be a kid. The world needs more of this sweet noise! Of course Porter was chearing and yelling right a long with the other kids. To him, they're all friends, and they're all there to have a good time.

Oh yeah, if you haven't been to the Megaplex 13 at The Junction, you're missing out. We've seen a few movies there and the quality of the screen, audio and the overall atmosphere is always great! I even noticed that they have a little internet cafe area, with ten or so systems hooked up and ready to surf. Not sure why they're there, but it's still cool to me:)

Yeah it's true. My lil brother Nick jumped a flight to Cali, with his son Dom. I already feel the distance, and miss knowing he's close by. I guess it was nice to have all my familia in one state, but I guess that's just me being selfish. It will be different around here without him and Dom around, but I know it's for the best. My brother is a stud, and I love him so much. I know that he's battling with some demons in his life, and the fight at times gets him down.....but he's a fighter, and he's got his whole family in his corner. Sometimes I'll be at my folks house visiting, and something in the old house reminds me of growing up with Nick. Anyways, I better stop writing about this, I'm getting kind of bummed...

I conducted the interview from his 5 star hotel room, over looking the Strip in Vegas.............or was it in a basement apartment in Clearfield, located next to the laundry room? IDK? Anywho....we just chilled a little, sipped a little and discussed a little Politics. You know, all the things you do with a 2yr old:) Good Times!
